Production Module: Ensuring Conformance to Standard
The Production module is used in the factory to provide operational control, ensuring all procedures are consistently and accurately performed.
This module contains checks such as metal detection, average weight and process variable checks. Variables such as temperature, weight, ph, viscosity and salt level are monitored and immediate follow up procedures are actioned if not within specification tolerances.
Information is gathered from a number of sources such as hand held computers and fixed point data entry terminals on the production line.
Reports provided by the Production module include: Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), downtime analysis and process variable trending reports. These reports can be used to drive shift ‘pit-stop’ meetings, immediately highlighting current production issues. Daily and weekly statistics are provided to measure and improve the process as part of the continuous improvement cycle.
